Produced on the occasion of a Cheap Art workshop Peter Schumann conducted at Johnson State College in Vermont in 1986, this modest pamphlet served as a catalog-cum-manifesto for the resulting exhibition. With a short essay on the history and purpose of Bread and Puppet’s cheap art practice, the booklet lists the types of “life-assistance” cheap art may offer, around which the exhibition was organized.
