The Apocalypse Roadshow

We printed these letterpress posters for Garrett MacLean’s exhibit at the Middlebury College Museum of Art in May 2024. Garrett’s photographs documented Bread and Puppet’s traveling COVID show ‘Apocalypse Defiance’. For more than three months, through 32 states, and 79 shows he photographed the experience of strange and apocalyptic times through the lens of Bread and Puppet Theatre. 

This is a letterpress poster of hand set type and a masonite cut by Peter Schumann, printed on our Vandercook SP20. The posters will be available for purchase at the exhibit. They are a numbered edition of 240, of which we only have 35 copies on hand. A limited number are being made available on our online store.
