The printed masonite cuts featured in this handmade book were originally part of the Bread and Puppet show, Ave Maris Stella in 1977. The cuts were used again in B&P's 1995 Star Calendar. Cut up leftover calendars were paired with new texts, which were handprinted in a layout designed by Lila Winstead and Elka Schumann. The cut outs were glued by Maria Schumann and the book was completed using a binding designed by Claire Van Vliet. Text and masonite cuts by Peter Schumann. 110 copies were handprinted and compiled in 2001.
