She Rides She Sits She Flies, tells the life story of Elka Schumann. This first person narrative text was transcribed from a number of interviews with Elka, and was edited by her before she passed in the Summer of 2021. The narrative text is accompanied with images of bas-relief scenes and sculpted figures made by Peter Schumann in the early 1970s, which are permanently installed in the Bread & Puppet Museum.
