The images in this book were inspired by young Albrecht Dürer’s furious woodcuts of the apocalypse. Peter Schumann cut this series on 3′ x 4′ masonite panels in the early months of 2017. Lila Winstead added assemblages of words from the B&P printshop’s archives and hand printed them on fabric. The printed cloth text and images were then made into a Cantastoria. The images in the book are photographs of those banners.
