The Life and Death of Charlotte Salomon displays the series of masonite panels painted by Peter Schumann as a reaction to the work of the German-Jewish born expressionist Charlotte Salomon who was killed in Auschwitz (1917 - 1943). The original painted panels are currently mounted in the Bread & Puppet Museum.
