Inspired in part by the mind-numbing spectacle of US electoral politics, Peter Schumann began deploying the term "possibilitarian" in shows, artworks and books in the early 2000s to evoke outside-the-box thinking and action. From The Possibilitarian Arsenal of Belligerent & Not So Belligerent Slogans is a modest sized book printed in full-color, which alternates between a series of short comics of the same name and roughly hewn crayon drawings. Effusive, if somewhat cryptic, the intertwining "narratives" call for an exuberant rebellion to save humanity and the planet from the ravages of the capitalist empire.
