The photographs in this year’s Bread & Puppet calendar represent only a select few of the 6 decades of Bread & Puppet anti-war shows, pageants, and parades. The 2024 calendar honors B&P’s long history of anti-war work from 1963 to the present. Gratitude to Elka and Peter Schumann who came from Russia and Germany with their anti-war sensibilities grounded in lived experience.
